My daughter made me pause today. I was going to write a full blog post about it but I thought I would let her explain. Before we begin, I should explain that I was diagnosed with breast cancer when she was 4. We were very open with her and her brother from the beginning but you never know how much they can understand about that type of situation at that age. I wonder what she really thinks cancer is and how it works. Obviously, she knows what it has the power to do. What she doesn't mention in the video is that she cried while I was at my sickest this past week because she thought the worst.
